EXTENDED CARE PROGRAMS (ECP)
While you are at work, the last thing you need is another distraction. Today, with so many families finding it necessary to place their children in daycare in order to accommodate their work schedules, worries about children often show up on the job. They don’t have to…. we have adapted our schedule to fit yours. This is not just day care; Montessori Academy is a private school offering quality child care to meet the changing needs of today's families.  This program is available on a regular or occasional basis.  We offer a wonderful lunch that the children help prepare.  Our meals are made on site sans processed foods and with the harvest from our organically grown garden. 

Early Bird Program
7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Morning extension
Noon to 1:00 p.m. lunch included.

Afternoon / After School Program
Noon to 3:00 p.m. This program is offered for children under 5 years of age who are enrolled for the extended hours/extended calendar schedule. It has a relaxed and home-like atmosphere and is consistent with the Montessori philosophy of independence, self-direction and individual care and includes a nutritious lunch and nap.

3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children 3 to 12 yrs. participate in indoor and outdoor games and activities, arts & crafts, stories, nature walks, animal care and more.

Late Late
5:30pm to 6:00pm May be Available.

Extended Hours/Extended Calendar Schedule
This program is for any child registered in a Toddler, Primary or Elementary class who needs Extended Care on a regular basis before and/or after class hours. The hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm daily and include days when the school is closed for vacation, parent/teacher conferences, etc. (The hours of this program may not be appropriate for all toddlers. Montessori Academy reserves the right to limit the hours of an individual child if it is determined to be in the best interest of that child.)

TUTORING
The teachers may be available for private tutoring. Parents interested in this service may contact the individual teacher.

DRAMA
Montessori Academy offers an after-school drama program which is also open to the community. This comprehensive and high quality arts experience is offered at Montessori Academy during the Fall and Spring semesters.

SPORTS
In conjunction with the United Soccer Academy, Montessori Academy offers soccer skill lessons in the Spring and Fall at the Conrow soccer field adjacent to the Academy.   For more information about this program please visit United Soccer Academy or pick up an application in the office.  

PIANO LESSONS
In partnership with the Cherry Hill Academy of Piano & Guitar individual piano lessons are offered as an after school activity for students 5 years or older (younger students will be considered).  

GUITAR LESSONS
In partnership with the Cherry Hill Academy of Piano & Guitar  individual guitar lessons are offered as an after school activity for students 7 years or older. Guitar lessons will resume in September.

YOGA CLASSES
In partnership with Stages Yoga children and adult yoga classes are offered as an after school activity for students 5 years or older.
